i made two editions from this copper plate, this one in yellow and another in brown. the eagle is
idealized, from an old sketch. i dind't use any photographic references for this plate, so it isn't altogether realistic. i could have spent a lot more time on this engraving, but it was the first one i ever did, and i was in a frustrated frame of mind. not my best work, but pretty good for a first try i think. |
